Education and Training

Raleigh County Family Support Center offers life skills, training, and support groups to families to provide them with a support network and tools. Training may be provided in a group or one-on-one as staff and volunteers are available.

  • Parenting skills
  • Positive discipline strategies
  • Building financial stability
  • Nutrition and cooking skills
  • Securing important personal documents (social security cards, birth certificate, identification cards, copies of relevant court orders etc.)
  • Grandparents raising grandchildren
  • Fundamental computer literacy
